it was 1:05 pm...after the final assembly she came out of her class with rest of her friends, tired..exhausted..dull..but still happy that the school hours were over!
she stepped out of the school gate..sun was just above her and the warm breeze with lots of dust particles passed her face. she didnt wanted to talk to anyone..she just wanted to ..go home. she somehow managed to find her bus in the heavy traffic as it was the standard time for all schools to get over. she tried to walk as fast as she can so that she gets a corner seat in the bus where she can sit peacefully after such a hectic day, but suddenly she herd someone callin her name out loud..."dhara didi,......dhara didi........ruko..." she turned around to see..their were 5 children of approx same age group may be in 1st or 2nd standard, "dhara didi...humare saath chalo" they all held her hand tightly as if she'll run somewhere, and walked to the bus. they made her sit on a seat near them..she wanted to vanish desperately from there..she didnt wanted to hear all those noises..she wanted to sleep..she wanted silence, but at the same time she didnt wanted to hurt those kids' feelings and said "ok" and sat near them,,but no this wasn't the end dear! she was forcefully made to play "aao milo sheelo shalo" . "sunday, monday" and what not games! with a fake smile on her face..she played them all!!! with every 5 of them!!! FINALLY! her stop came..of which she was so badly waiting for..she almost jumped out of the bus..and started walking but as she took few steps..5 of them along with 4 new ones screamed..."1..2..3..Dhara didi...u r very sweeeeeeeet"

and at the end of the day...she returned home...SMILING! :)

  1. Awww... that was sweet. Aao Milo sheelo shalo makes me nostalgic... although I couldn't memorise it in my childhood. It was kinda girly for me.
